Tea Child

I will never understand the child serving on tea in fancy coffee shops.

Going through Choke again.

We don't have the technology...

I'm sorry sir but we can't fully restore your memories: the virtual experiences programmed within your ghost will have second effects and we don't have the technology yet to solve such matters.

Ghost In The Shell on rewatch.
The universe can and it does change topology. At the quantum level spacetime looks like FOAM that changes continuously. There is a paper by Aspinwall-Greene-Morrison that proves this in string theory. No one knows how to prove it independently but, even if string theory is proved wrong, it is the expected behavior of Quantum Gravity.

Are you okay, Koroonful?

Yes. I'm okay random colleague playing it nice.

And I'm aware that not furthering my talk with details doesn't make you believe me but dude, how am I supposed to tell you that whenever I'm taking my mind out of a book, it's like being expelled from the womb all over again with the whole grief-loss-cut-the-ombilical-cord-so-it-doesn't-crawl-back syndrom?

How can I convey to you how dephased I am regading what is surrounding me when I have an audiobook playing in my ears and it's fucking my brain up?

How do you want me to tell you in less than a sentence -because after one sentence, you just want to interrupt me and be done already geez - that when I open my mind to ideas that are described and explored I'm like an Alice chasing rabbits and I don't cease to be fascinated by what I'm encountering, trying to get to the bottom of it without losing it, exploring whatever corner I'm offered and taking action as well and screaming and fighting and dying and cheering up and betraying and eating and welcoming and organizing parties and telling stories and preparing tea and shrooding my dead ones and getting bored with friends and coloring the skies and escaping death and whatnot?

Leave me alone. I have fucked up facial expressions which follow a train of thoughts that doesn't describe my personal emotions as a separate entity but rather the ones I get as a connected one, specially when I'm wired to a book.

go to sleep go to sleep go to sleep

Reminder to future Koroonfuls: please don't watch FF VII related material of ANY sort before bedtime.
Please don't ruin sleep.
I really should go to sleep. My head is starting to believe it's a comforting idea to be in Cloud's spot right now.

I should go to sleep.

Even humankind goes through phases

I've never been a fan of the teenage phase of anything, nor have I understood it or felt compassionate towards it.

My 13 years-old sister is paying for that btw.

Oh well.

A Hard-boiled Wonderland

I saw a chubby girl dressed in pink today after coming back from the gym.

I think I need to read Hard-boiled Wonderland and the End of the World again.

Although I'm starting to think of reversing to audible books to make something out of the two hours commute to and back from work: I get dizzy reading manga on my iPAD in the bus.

On the Prince-Princess roles

I do not think that heroes should be portrayed as strapping young men that save the day by fighting against an overpowering evil beast. Children needn’t grow up believing that they need physical strength to be considered “strong”.

I also find that women are all too often portrayed as weak, helpless, or in need of rescuing and it is often a strong, young prince who comes to save her from her struggles. Many of my movies have strong female leads-brave, self-sufficient girls that don’t think twice about fighting for what they believe in with all their heart.
They’ll need a friend, or a supporter, but never a savior. Any woman is just as capable as being a hero as any man.
